The first step is to enter the official website of College Ave, and once you get there, you will choose the type of loan you will be applying for. There are 4 types: undergraduate student loan, graduated student loan, parent loan, and refinancing loan.

This tutorial can be applied to all four of them, the only difference might be the data necessary. For the sake of time and space, I will be guiding the tutorial based on the undergraduate student loan. First, you will be able to pre-qualify or apply immediately, and once again, I will only be writing for the application. Once you click on it, choose if you are a student, or a cosigner of a student, then you must fill in with your name, surname, email and phone. Then, the address, city, state, Zip Code, birthday, income, etc.

I won’t be naming all of them, or else we would not be able to leave this step. Then you must continue and fill in with the payment methods and all that bureaucracy stuff, and apply. Done, now you just need to wait for a response from the team.

If you wish to enter in contact with College Ave, it is pretty easy, but first you need to know there is this thing called “frequently asked questions” and here you can actually see the more frequent questions people asked, and see if yours is among them, if it is, good, you are done. But if it isn’t, then you must go to the official page of the website, and scroll all the way down until you find the option “contact us”. Click on it and done! This company has its ups and downs, like everything else in existence, my favorite con is the six month extension period, and the con I most dislike (it’s not like I have an option, there is just one con) is that if you wish to request a cosigner in the middle of the loan, you must be at least halfway through your payment. Either way, this company has more goods than evils, and in my opinion, it is definitely alright.

If you absolutely despised this company, then you should definitely know more about Credible! (not that you will despise it too, but maybe you will like it).
